A team of Palestinian experts is working on the restoration of exquisite manuscripts at a center at the al-Aqsa Mosque compound.

The center is located at al-Ashrafiyah School which is home to a historic Islamic library.

Precious manuscripts, including Islamic books, manuscripts of the Quran, and other Arabic books that date back several centuries ago, are being preserved and restored by experts at the center.

The manuscripts that have been restored by the experts in this center include a copy of the book Ihya Uloom al-Din [The Revival of the Religious Sciences] by Imam Muhammad Ghazali, a copy of the book Asbab al-Nuzul by Wahedi, as well as several handwritten manuscripts and historical documents. These manuscripts are valuable sources of Islamic heritage and culture that reflect the rich history and diversity of the Muslim world.
